fantastic stay!

spacious roomscomfortable bedsefficient staffrepetitive breakfast
The hotel was wonderful! the rooms are so spacious. As a family, we fit easily with all our luggage. the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was super trendy and easy to use. the cleaning staff were efficient and so kind, greeting us with huge smiles every morning and doing a great cleaning job.
the breakfast, during my days, became quite repetitive, especially considering the price. the cupboard drawers had inadequate space for clothes on a longer stay. i also wished there were more english channels or movies on the tv for entertainment.

The food was AMAZING!!! breakfast offered a variety of choices, including fresh pastries and japanese specialties. the rooftop bar also had tasty light bites. It was a great spot for a pre-dinner snack with city views.

The room was really big. I could open all my suitcases with space to spare. The bed had the most comfortable duvet. The staff were so nice. They seemed to care about every guest.
The hotel sits near a highway so there was some traffic sound.

average stay due to noise and misleading info

acceptable locationsound insulationmisleading pictures
the location was acceptable since it was next to the sumo stadium.
The noise from the expressway was awful. I couldn't even make a phone call from the terrace. something really needs to be done about the sound insulation. also, i booked a room with a river view based on the pictures, but i got a room facing the street. seriously?

the hotel offered wonderful in-room products, including shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. the bed was very comfy, i slept well each night. the rooftop terrace provided excellent views, especially of the skytree (i spent quite a bit of time up there).
i found the cupboard drawers and hanger space for clothes to be a bit inadequate.

the hotel is across the street from a subway station, a great convenience. nearby, i found a historic tokugawa era park and several museums. the area is off the beaten path and located right on the river.
